Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM

Planning is over a year out, with dates around Sept/Oct 2025.
Our guide would be one of the top aurora experts in Iceland. He recommended the Sept/Oct window.

Hey everyone,
I'd love to test the level of interest on a project I'm thinking of developing. This is especially geared toward my photographer friends, but certainly not limited to them.
One of my favorite things to photograph are abandoned things, and on my recent trip to Iceland, I noted some really fabulous ones. I know there are lots of folks who share this interest. I want to combine this "exurban" exploration with aurora photography for a small group, 5-day adventure in Iceland.
Please share this message with your friends and other photography groups, so I can gauge the level of interest.

That sounds fun!

I am cruising there (and to Greenland) and back in July... so I don't think I can swing another trip there any time soon.

I'm hoping people will do this, though... dream trip!

probably can't afford it. But I'd be interested if there's a way of doing it cheaply!

Oh, you have my attention!
I assume that if you are interested in auroras, you would be looking at times around the equinoxes?
