Current challenge ... I was interested and looked it up. Not quite as difficult as I thought it might be. Take a look.

General Search Results

I liked some of the examples in this article.

... and of course, we have the first running of Dutch Angle results that can be referenced as well. :-)

Any favorite examples you'd like to share for Dutch Angle conversation?

edit - removed screen shot image (was a bit too wide for forum thread post).

I wasn't sure if there was a distinction I was missing with what I just think of as a dramatic tilt. It seems I often do these angles quite naturally when taking photos from my bike.

I've already got an entry, but it's NOT a bicycle.

I agree and think that pretty much any dramatic tilt will fit the subject category of Dutch Angle.

Liking what you did with this one ==> . Probably would get a little roasted in voting with the painterly look (one of those polarizing love it / hate it kind of things ... or neutral 5's).
I tried to get this post in early enough to discuss ahead of entries. Didn't see that there were 2 in the hopper already. I think we're ok to discuss still?

ETA - Geez. Didn't realize the image highlighted had been in a challenge. Makes sense given the challenge it was in. :-)

Don't forget it's minimal editing. I've just changed my camera settings.

I've been shooting RAW+ Medium JPG for a few years now. I default to composing with a little fudge factor to crop and correct tilt, so my minimal entries are better when I remember to shoot specifically for them.

Yes, I went over the top on purpose, just for that topic. Here's my original, non-challenge edit. I usually get some pleasing motion blur shots when riding through this tunnel in a group.

Yes, it's all good. This topic is one that could use a little explication :-)
