great job here...this is one of my faves of the challenge...colors/angled composition is great ..the mic is lit wonderfully...i'm not too fond of the lighting of the singer though...the bright somewhat overexposed flesh tones competes too much with the mic and detracts from the image...also the object coming from the top of the face (i'm assuming they are glasses) is kind of a detraction as well because it is hard to see what they are and almost looks like a clone mishap..no real point of having it in the shot unless they are more prominent in the cropping...otherwise great job...this is one of my high scores!

I really like this shot and idea, only 1 thing puts me off and I think it could be part of the glasses at the top right hand side. Its very distracting. Lovely idea though.

I find the top right corner quite distracting, it's a little hard to make out what it is, otherwise a great entry.

This is the first high key shot of this challenge that IMHO actually works as high key! The first thing that catches my eye though is the artifact above the nose on the right hand side of the shot. What the hell is it??? Great shot overall and a marvelous job of capturing the metal mic without horribly blown out highlights in a high key envirionment.

The focus in this picture, rocks! I love the prop also, nice microphone! Just brings you back to the 30's, 40's and radio broadcasting. Well, not really since I wasn't born near that time, but...

The angle looks a bit wierd to me, and is the person wearing glasses? But it is a good idea, not so obviuos and the shot is clean (maybe a bit too overexposed, but you probably did it on purpose). Just this tiny part of glasses is distracting me. maybe I'm just too picky. 7.

A bit overexposed, but otherwise I like it.

Lighting is a little harsh, but short of the spot on the glasses it doesn't really harm the photo. I would lose the eye glasses and reshoot. Otherwise, I like the idea and the placement. The focus is good
