 i had taken photos of tod for this challenge on the track where we walk as its been raining a heap and the track has rivulets .. I edited a couple but they didnt grabbed me ..

last night it had rained and was foggy this morning .. so i put on the macro lens .. like its not on almost permanently .. lol .. and went into the grass .. took a heap of shots moving to different parts of the yard .. i saw a tiny little blob when shooting droplets .. focused on it and it was this minuscule mosquito .. he was so tiny that if i moved my position a very small amount to get a different angle or took my eye away from viewfinder i would lose him .. also was extremely difficult getting him in focus .. my equipment isn't really good enough for extreme macro ..

i really enjoyed the process though and no matter how this goes with the voters it was worth it .. :)

thankyou so much everyone who appreciated this image .. who knew how beautiful little mosquitos were .. lol ..
and how about its antennae .. apparently the mosquitos with that feathery antennae are the males .. like many creatures in this world the males are the beautiful ones ..
not so for us humans .. joke .. hahaha .. ;)

Never thought of a bloody mosquito being elegant before this shot. Mosquito on stilts walking gingerly and sporting a toady expression. A sycophant. Great photo. Horrible beast.
