For the record, it's allowed to have someone else press the shutter button if you set up the shot yourself. This one was done with the help of my long-suffering sweetie Penelope, who kindly indulged me as I posed myself and generally fidgeted :-) |

Robert, I just noticed my comment previously did not present correctly. I'm not sure why that happened. What I wanted to say was that this is a beautiful, raw portrait of what you have endured. I hope you are well on your way to a complete recovery.

There is no mark available for an image like this one. Humanity at its best expression. Far beyond photo quality or such nonsense. An powerful and intelligent understanding of life and beyond.

i personally see the body as a vehicle that we spend time in to experience this world .. some are given an easy ride .. some are not .. with everything in between ..
but i've gotta say .. this photo brought tears to my eyes ..
so bruised and beaten up .. hard to see and not feel so much compassion ..
you are an absolute inspiration .. and i wish there were ppl like you in the world .. get well soon .. xx
