 This is a real flower. Same family as the Dragon fruit. It literally only lasts for 1 night (and a few hours during the day). I love them and have various color varieties.

Beautifully shot, congrats on your ribbon! We have this plant in our backyard too, but I always missed their brief blooming hours. So this year I made a determined effort to catch it bloom. Here is the time lapse video I captured overnight (1 frame per minute)Queen of the Night

Not a bad score for a fake flower, I could be wrong, but it does look like I can see fabric pulling from the flower.
